Indian consumers continue to rely on banking websites for their banking needs. This preference stems from a combination of factors: familiarity with desktops for internet tasks, the advantage of a larger screen for managing finances, and a perception of greater security on websites. We evaluated the functionality, features, and usability of the websites of six banks in India. This report presents highlights from the functionality review and provides best practices and recommendations for banks to improve their offerings.
