Forrester’s 2022 data shows that security and risk (S&R) teams have more culture energy than other teams in terms of motivation and purpose. Moreover, the culture energy of individual S&R contributors more closely matches that of their leaders than in other job functions. Our data also shows that S&R teams composed of homeworkers are more committed, motivated, and purpose-driven — but less adaptable — than their in-office counterparts. S&R leaders can use this data to benchmark their own team’s culture energy, spot similarities with other teams, and instill cultural best practices.
