According to a recent Forrester online survey of security managers, they are all over the map when it comes to meeting their server operating system (OS) security goals. They patch their servers an average of eight days later than the 24-day limit that their OS security policies specify. Our respondents also waste a full day each month handling security emergencies rather than solving new business problems.
