Because partners typically work with numerous suppliers, they receive a large volume of supplier communications. Communications sent by suppliers are often never read, and even messages that require action languish forgotten in recipients’ inboxes. Effective partner communications require a continuous, conscious effort to increase partner engagement through thoughtful timing, delivery and messaging. In this report, we present the Partner Communications Framework, which provides a step-by-step process and related best practices that channel organizations can use to manage effective supplier-to-partner communications.
