Summary
In our annual organizational and staffing survey of eBusiness and channel strategy professionals, we find yet again that although eBusiness team sizes are growing, eBusiness professionals feel that their teams are understaffed. They feel this staffing pain the most in the roles they need most to drive digital differentiation forward — IT, customer experience/usability, and business analytics. In this report, we outline average eBusiness team sizes and segment that analysis by overall company revenue, overall company employee size, and online revenue. We also discuss the functional areas in which eBusiness professionals are most understaffed and those which they find hardest to hire for.
