US Consumers Worry About Their Safety In Various Public Places

US consumers’ concerns for their physical safety in public places vary widely by location, according to Forrester’s June 2023 Consumer Pulse Survey. On the high end of the spectrum, 47% worry about their safety in live music venues, while on the lower end, 30% are concerned in healthcare facilities and restaurants. For customers, there’s a difference between being safe and feeling safe. Customer experience leaders should use design best practices to ensure that customers feel safe. This data snapshot shows US online adults’ attitudes toward physical safety in public locations.
