Although most organizations recognize the importance of understanding the needs of existing and potential customers — along with those of buyers and users — nearly two-thirds say they have no consistent approach for identifying those needs. The Forrester Needs Aperture is a five-phase process for identifying, prioritizing, and applying customer needs to optimize the commercialization of an organization’s offerings. In this report, we present the Forrester Customer Needs Template, which organizations can download and use to plan the execution of the Needs Aperture process and capture the results.
