Forrester has designed this vendor polarization survival test for assessing evolving supplier marginalization. It covers two broad areas -- corporate and operational readiness -- with a list of 20 criteria to evaluate the situation of each provider. The outcome of the evaluation -- a score totaling between 10 and 30 ¿- will help end user firms identify where a provider stands in one of three broad categories: 1) No strategy and operationally out of date; 2) Partial strategy in place but operational investments are still required; or 3) A clear strategy and the right operational investments.
