Customer-Obsessed Enterprise Award

Does your company focus relentlessly on customers? Has this focus resulted in big improvements for customers and the business?  

Forrester’s Customer-Obsessed Enterprise Award celebrates an organization that exemplifies customer obsession by putting the customer at the center of its leadership, strategy, and operations to achieve wins for customers, employees, and the business. Customer-obsessed businesses grow revenue, profitability, customer retention, and employee engagement at more than twice the rate of other companies. The Forrester Customer-Obsessed Enterprise Award will go to an organization that demonstrates: 

  • Sharp and sustained customer focus in leaders’ decisions and behaviors, strategy at the corporate and functional levels, and day-to-day operations throughout the enterprise.  
  • Deep collaboration across the business — especially among marketing, customer experience, and digital teams but also with other functions (such as tech or HR) and with partners — to ensure customer obsession.  
  • Quantifiably better outcomes for customers, employees, and the business as a result.  

This award is open to B2C organizations across industries that are headquartered in North America and have 1,000 or more employees.  

* Three senior executives from the winning enterprise will receive complimentary tickets to CX Summit North America 2024 taking place June 17-20 in Nashville, Tennessee and two-night hotel accommodation.

Customer-Obsessed Leadership Award

Forrester’s Customer-Obsessed Leadership Award recognizes a senior leader who exemplifies actions that drive customer obsession by putting the customer at the center of their work every day. Customer-obsessed businesses grow revenue, profitability, customer retention, and employee engagement at more than twice the rate of other companies. The recipient of the Forrester Customer-Obsessed Leader Award will go to a senior executive who: 

  • Puts the customer at the center of every decision and behavior.  
  • Creates an environment in which every employee can do the same.  
  • Shows how their focus on customers creates quantifiably better outcomes for customers, employees, and the business  

This award is open to senior leaders in organizations across industries that are headquartered in North America and have 1,000 or more employees.

Awards FAQ

Do applicants need to be a Forrester client to apply?
No, all B2C enterprises (of 1,000+ employees) that are headquartered in North America are welcome to apply. 

Can CX vendors or agencies apply? 
Vendors and Agencies are not eligible for this award but are welcome to nominate their clients, with their client’s written permission.

How is the award judged? 
Shortlisted nominees are selected on the qualitative and quantitative depth of their nominations. 

A judging panel of Forrester experts will shortlist enterprises and then interview them, if necessary, to carefully select award recipients.  

A proprietary, quantitative, and qualitative scoring methodology will be applied to all applications

Are the details from the nomination made public? 
No. All responses are treated as strictly confidential. If we wish to use anything from our conversation in published research, we will ask for your explicit permission. 

When do award submissions close?
March 5, 2024 at 5 PM EST 

When will winners be notified? 
Winners will be notified in March 2024.  

How does Forrester promote winners?  
The Winners will be interviewed on stage during a keynote session at this year’s event. Winners and Finalists may be featured in Forrester reports, videos, social media posts, and other marketing channels.  

Will the keynote be recorded? 
Yes, the keynote session with the winning enterprise will be recorded and accessible via the digital platform. 

Does Forrester cover travel expenses for the winning organization?  

  • Customer-Obsessed Enterprise Winner: Forrester will cover a two-night hotel stay and provide complimentary access to the event for up to three c-level representatives from the winning company.  
  • Customer-Obsessed Leadership Winner: Forrester will cover a two-night hotel stay and provide complimentary access to the event for the Leadership Winner.   

Who is expected to attend from the winning company?  

  • Customer-Obsessed Enterprise Award: Enterprises that apply should be willing to have three senior executives participate in a discussion about their company’s customer obsession on stage at Forrester’s CX Summit North America 2024 event.
  • Customer-Obsessed Leadership Award: Senior leaders that apply should be willing to discuss their customer obsession story on stage at Forrester’s CX Summit North America 2024 event.
