Summary

Globally, 30% of blockchain projects will make the jump to production in 2021. Virtually all of those will run on enterprise blockchain platforms from suppliers like Alibaba, Huawei, IBM, Microsoft, OneConnect, and Oracle. The proliferation of decentralized finance (DeFi) scams and speculative activity will drive executives with corporate reputations to protect away from public blockchains. China’s national blockchain infrastructure will roar ahead, while global and regional blockchain infrastructure initiatives will stay stuck in neutral.
