Summary

Online retailing has performed well in 2010. For a majority of online retailers, those results are translating into continued strong investment in eCommerce and mobile technologies in 2011. While 20% of online retailers already have a re-platforming project underway, eCommerce platforms remain in high demand in 2011. And while a majority of online retailers use internal staff to support eCommerce platforms today, increasingly eCommerce executives look to shift toward externally supported solutions such as fully hosted/managed or SaaS eCommerce solutions.
