Summary

Forrester's recent Asia Pacific Consumer Technology Adoption Study survey showed that Australians are keen to manage their finances on the Web. Australia's online consumers frequently use the Internet to transact and access information on their savings. These consumers have a strong appetite for online investing and self-service with respect to their bank, superannuation, and investment accounts. Traditional Australian financial services firms need to ensure that they are ready to meet the online needs of customers, or risk losing business to new, Internet-savvy competitors.
