Summary

To understand more about this changing PC landscape and what it means for consumers’ expectations in the market, we tapped into our qualitative Technographics® community. During a three-week discussion series, more than 250 of our Digital Consumer Community members chimed in to let us know exactly how they felt about the PCs in their households now and what they plan to buy in the future. Slightly more than 40% of our members have added a new PC to their household in the past year, with most of these being an additional computer. While the majority of our members purchased a laptop, some chose a netbook because of its attractive price point, and almost all of our members are eagerly waiting to see how the tablet market shapes up.
