Summary

Over the past year financial service (FS) firms have made progress in breaking down the silos within the IT group by moving to centralized organizations. Noteworthy progress has also been made in the IT groups' collaboration with the lines of business (LOB), as well as with the perception of IT across the firm. However, there is still significant work to be done in breaking down the individual business silos to achieve more effective and cohesive strategies for investing in enterprise technology solutions.
