Summary

According to a recent Forrester survey, 53% of North American and European SMB IT decision-makers are prioritizing mobility support-tracking, which slightly lags behind the percentage of enterprises that view this as a priority. Increasingly, this type of support often takes the form of mobile applications. It's no surprise that among SMBs, wireless email and product information management (PIM) are the most popular — but customer-facing, field-service and logistics applications are of interest to different industries as well. In 2008, we see the normalization of North American and European mobility activities — where both regions track in their priority of SMB mobility support and deployment of mobile applications.
