High-performing IT operating models distinguish themselves by balancing the need for the delivery of value with the need for operational efficiency. The IT organizations that excel focus on the key capabilities that deliver strategic and operational objectives and develop competencies that are hard to mimic. Though an organization’s strategy will determine which capabilities IT needs to focus on, this research highlights several capabilities that tech execs identify as crucial for a high-performing future fit IT operating model.
