From April 29 to May 1, Forrester conducted its Q2 2020 Hong Kong PandemicEX Survey after the first wave of the survey in late March. The results compared with the first wave of the survey give us additional insights into trends regarding employees’ attitudes, their psychological safety, and how prepared they feel for returning to work. There are signs that Hong Kong employees’ fears surrounding the pandemic are dying down, but it will still take time for them to feel mentally prepared to return to work. When welcoming employees back, enterprises must show care, empathy, support, and patience to earn their trust and assuage their fears.
