Approximately one-third of global digital business strategy decision-makers indicate that they already use at least one of the primary tech categories that make up commerce technology, per Forrester’s Digital Business Strategy Survey, 2024. Thirty-six percent are using an order management system (OMS), and this breaks down to 38% of respondents in Europe, 35% in North America, and 31% in Asia Pacific. Roughly one-third in Asia Pacific (35%) and North America (31%), as well as 28% in Europe, say they use e-commerce solutions. Even as businesses transition from homegrown to packaged solutions, many must still maintain legacy solutions within their ecosystem.
