Forrester’s 2023 data reveals that a greater percentage of working-age US online adults with a disability are concerned about financial challenges than those without a disability. Among online working adults with a disability, 26% are concerned about paying for basic daily living expenses; 26% worry about debt or loan repayments. It’s remarkable that 86% of those with a disability noted they were struggling with at least one financial challenge we asked about, versus only 71% of those without a disability. Financial services firms are positioned to help if they understand the challenges of people with a disability better and then utilize their talents to address them.
