Forrester's Green IT Baseline Calculator

This calculator identifies and quantifies your green IT baseline -- an annual estimate of the energy consumption (kilowatt hour), CO2 emissions, and dollar costs of operating your current IT environment both inside and outside of the data center. In addition, the model also calculates useful ratios, such as the power usage effectiveness (PUE) and data center infrastructure efficiency (DCiE), to help you benchmark energy use within your data center. To account for regional differences in the CO2 emissions per kilowatt hour and the price per kilowatt hour, two identical models are available for customers based in either the United States or Europe.
