This role profile provides a job description and competencies for the B2B director/manager of marketing automation, who is central to the alignment and ownership of the core technologies in the revenue tech stack. The director/manager of marketing automation is responsible for managing a company’s marketing automation platform (MAP) from a strategic, program, and operational perspective. This role owns the collection, creation, and distribution of best practices and works with marketers to apply marketing automation capabilities within the organization. Depending on the company’s size and requirements, this role may have responsibility for one team member to dozens of team members.
