Summary

Service-level agreements (SLAs) are the agreements between revenue functions that ensure opportunities are properly managed during handoffs across functions. Without governance, SLAs are intentional only, not enforced, and useless. SLA governance protects processes that are designed to ensure accountability, transparency, and participation in clearly defined opportunity handoffs between revenue engine teams. In this report, we outline four critical components for governing SLAs and collaborating to avoid missed opportunities.
