Summary

A successful release requires not only that the offering is ready for launch, but also that marketing, sales, and customer success are ready to support it. The commercial readiness plan certifies that the offering’s capabilities are ready to meet buyer and user needs and that the launch and sales knowledge transfer plans are ready to be activated. In this report, we provide guidelines, templates, and examples to create the commercial readiness plan and review it with the innovation council to gain a formal decision on the offering’s launch.
