Summary
Two years have passed since the start of the pandemic, and UK consumers remain apprehensive about in-store shopping. Forrester’s February 2022 Consumer Energy Index And Retail Pulse Survey shows that a resounding 70% of UK online adults report that they continue to engage in social distancing, and 72% report wearing masks when in public. UK and French respondents are somewhat warier than US respondents: 74% of online adults in both the UK and France agree that everyone should still wear masks in stores, versus 66% of US online adults.
