US Shoppers Leverage Smartphone Mobile Websites Throughout The Shopping Journey

Summary

According to Forrester’s Retail Benchmark Recontact Survey, 2022, 47% of US online adults have used a mobile website on their smartphone to research products or services in the past three months. That’s compared to 34% who have done so on a smartphone mobile app. The actual purchase of products and services, however, is still dominated by in-store and computer sales: 38% of US online adults have used a mobile app, and 37% have used a mobile website in the past three months to make a purchase. This snapshot shows Forrester’s data on devices and venues that US online adults have used to research and buy products and services.
