Senior Director of Customer and Marketing Intelligence, Albertsons Companies

Henrik Christensen is the Senior Director of Customer and Market Intelligence at Albertsons Companies, a major U.S. grocery retailer. His team conducts market research for the enterprise, institutionalizes customer and market knowledge, and builds insights capability such as self-serve shopper panel research. The CX program Henrik’s team has built at Albertsons is among the most advanced in the grocery industry due to a relentless customer obsession and technological enablement. Prior to joining Albertsons in 2020, Henrik was Global VP Insights at Molson Coors, where he served in various leadership roles for over twenty years. Earlier in his career, Henrik discovered his passion for consumer empathy and began honing his brand building skills in the beer and furniture sectors from manufacturing to wholesale to retail. Henrik holds a bachelor’s degree equivalent in economics from Herning Handelsskole, Denmark as well as a bachelor’s degree equivalent in modern business languages from The Copenhagen Business School. He’s a member of several professional organizations, including The Marketing Accountability Standards Board and fluent in English, French, German and Nordic languages. Additionally, he has served as management advisor on several corporate boards.
