Nathalie D’Hers

Corporate VP, IT, Microsoft

Nathalie D’Hers heads Microsoft Digital, the IT organization at Microsoft whose mission is to power, protect, and transform the digital employee experience across devices, applications, and hybrid infrastructure. With more than 200k full-time employees and 100k vendors across 150 geographies, and 1.1 million guests visiting 580+ buildings worldwide annually, the breadth and depth of the team’s responsibility and reach is unparalleled.

As a champion of a digitally connected first, hybrid work environment, Nathalie has had the privilege of leading Microsoft Digital’s transformation over the past decade, evolving it from an information technology-centric organization to a modern, AI vision-led, experience centric organization. This includes defining, creating, and delivering the vision for Microsoft’s overall employee experience; accelerating the growth of Microsoft’s corporate functions such as human resources, corporate and legal affairs, and real estate; and transforming and securing Microsoft’s internal network and infrastructure while assisting with campus modernization and hybrid solutions. She has also worked with countless customers and industry CIOs and CTOs to help them further their company’s IT strategy and vision as well.

A pioneer of digital transformation in the enterprise and a passionate steward of the employee experience, Nathalie and her team take their role as “Customer Zero” for Microsoft very seriously
and are manically focused on empowering Microsoft employees with the tools and services that define the future of work. As that “first customer” to a wide variety of Microsoft products and
services, Nathalie’s organization is responsible for making sure that these products and services don’t just meet expectations, they exceed them. By collaborating with product teams to apply
internal employee learnings and feedback to improve upon Microsoft’s go-to-market offerings, Nathalie and her team are ensuring a better product outcome for customers and are in direct
support of Microsoft’s mission to “empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.”

Recognized for her unfaltering commitment to delivering outstanding results and innovative approaches to problem solving, Nathalie’s 25-year career at Microsoft has resulted in a strong
track record of building quality and diverse teams that deliver breakthrough performance. She has twice been the recipient of Microsoft’s prestigious Circle of Excellence Outstanding Achiever
award, and in 2025 received the Seattle ORBIE award for Global CIO of the Year (she was also a 2024 finalist). Nathalie’s also been named an EmpowHER50 recipient by Women in Cloud, and
her Microsoft Digital team received the 2025 CIO 100 award celebrating IT organizations and leaders who drive innovation, transformation, and business success through technology.

Nathalie is often called upon to be a speaker at industry events that focus on Future of Work, Hybrid Work, Digital Transformation and/or Employee Experience. As a strong advocate for
Women in Tech, Nathalie is active with several Microsoft initiatives including the Women’s Employee Resource Group, and leads regular discussions on diversity, accessibility and inclusion,
wellness and empathy in the workplace. In 2024, she launched a video series called “Charged: Women in Action” where she interviews female leaders to discuss the challenges and
opportunities that women in technology face. She is also an advisory board member and the Vice Chair for Seattle CIO, a peer-based network that helps CIOs maximize their leadership
effectiveness, create value, reduce risk and share success.

Nathalie holds a master’s degree in Business Management from the École Supérieure de Commerce de Pau, France, and is proficient in three languages. When not at work, she is an avid
runner, enjoys reading and chocolate, and is the very proud mother of two young women and two dogs.
