Rob Oddy
Head of Enterprise Architecture, Global Technology, Bank of America
Rob Oddy is a Managing Director and Head of Enterprise Architecture for Bank of America. The Enterprise Architecture and Technology Management team supports Global Technology teams and the wider enterprise to define the technology target state and roadmaps, enabling cross-functional designs that enable effective governance of programs and capabilities.
He is responsible for the federated conversion of business and technology strategies into medium-to-long term technology target architectures through blueprints and solutions, providing architecture coverage across all functional areas and technical capabilities.
Rob joined Bank of America in 2012 as Lead Architect for Global Wholesale Banking Technology EMEA, bringing 15 years’ experience from prior roles at Barclays Corporate, Standard Chartered and HSBC James Capel. In 2018 he was appointed as the Architecture Executive for Global Banking, Markets, Risk and Finance Technology, before moving into his current role in 2021.
Rob holds a first-class honours BSc in Computer Science from the University of Leeds and a PhD in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Bath. He is certified as a TOGAF 9.1 Architect with The Open Group. He also holds numerous patents and is a key contributor towards next-generation innovations.
