Visualize How Your IT Operating Model Creates Business Value

In discussions with tech execs regarding their IT operating models, we find that many focus visualizations on the IT org chart rather than the IT executes its workflows. Some tech execs are able to articulate their IT operating model through a simple visualization of their operating model workflow, but although the concepts are familiar to the tech exec, they’re abstract to those outside IT. This report presents an approach that enterprise architecture (EA) vendors have adopted that will help tech execs more easily articulate how IT delivers value to their customers.
