Jason Alan Snyder

Global Chief Technology Officer, Momentum Worldwide

Jason Alan Snyder is an inventor, technologist, and futurologist. As Global Chief Technology Officer at Interpublic Group (IPG) company Momentum Worldwide, he brings over 25 years of experience leading technology, innovation, and transformation in advertising and marketing. As Global CTO of Momentum, he oversees enterprise, development, and client service technologies. Through collaboration with creative, strategy, data and analytics, business leadership, and production talents, he offers insights into emerging technologies that amplify experience and engagement from the stadium to the shelf for a total brand experience. Snyder is also on the board of IPG company The Famous Group. Snyder returns to Momentum from IPG Studios and Craft Worldwide, where he was the chief architect of IPG’s world-class, sophisticated, unified, elastic, Microsoft Azure-enabled Infrastructure and Platform as a Service (IaaS and PaaS) production environment. Enabled and driven using Cognitive Robotic Process Automation (cRPA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML) – IPG’s marketing technology stack manifests as a new generation of ISO 9001:2015 certified production capabilities. Before his role as Global CTO of IPG Studios, Snyder held executive technology roles at other Interpublic Group companies and leadership roles at AOL and Yahoo! Snyder’s pioneering work with AI, ML, and cRPA is recognized broadly within the technology industry. According to Metaverse Insider, Jason is one of the top 30 experts in the world on topics dealing with the metaverse, virtual reality, augmented reality, and blockchain. He developed a significant intellectual property portfolio including foundation patents for geolocation, computer vision, and image recognition products for many mobile services. Jason also founded MPOWERD, the Benefit Corporation that manufactures and markets his invention, the “Luci” solar lantern, which is distributed and sold to fight energy poverty globally. The popular renewable energy product, a lightweight, inflatable, waterproof, collapsible, durable LED lantern with a solar-powered battery, has received many awards including the prestigious “iF Design” award, most innovative product at CES, celebrated at the Museum of Modern Art, Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum and is regularly featured in media globally.
