John C. Miller

VP, Consumer & Retail Solutions, AT&T

John Miller, Vice President of Customer & Retail Solutions (CaRS), is responsible for overseeing the development and deployment of a comprehensive customer relationship management (CRM) platform, Salesforce, which will enhance customer experiences across call centers, retail locations, and other sales and service channels. John also is responsible for the Generative AI strategy and development across AT&T’s human assisted channels.  Additionally, he manages the technologies that enable AT&T to maintain effective communication with customers across multiple platforms handling over a million calls and chats a day.

John Miller has built a distinguished career marked by innovation and leadership across multiple industries. At General Motors (GM), he earned a reputation as a skilled operator, technologist, and innovator by launching direct-to-consumer software services and developing a voice and chat AI assistant. He also founded the Digital Product Management group, which promoted agile and autonomous teams, and his groundbreaking work on GM’s CRM platform earned him the prestigious CIO 100 Award. Additionally, John has led significant technology integrations at Advanced Micro Devices, Cisco and Dell Technologies.

John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Texas. He is based in Dallas, Tx.
