Emily serves digital business strategy professionals and providers with a focus on the technology that enables commerce. She is an expert in commerce, order management, and drop-shipping technologies. Emily helps providers and practitioners anticipate the strategies, technologies, and priorities that will keep them relevant and ready for what’s to come.

In her research, Emily uncovers the power plays that brands and retailers can execute to select their ideal tech partners, make the most of their commerce technology investments, and understand where the market is heading. She digs into strategies for drop shipping and marketplace selling and provides support for the evolution of the commerce tech stack.

Previous Work Experience

Prior to Forrester, Emily served as vice president of marketing and digital at Berkshire Blanket & Home, the largest designer and importer of blankets and throws to the United States. She ran all marketing and consumer-facing efforts as well as the digital business, launching the first online, direct-to-consumer channel for the quarter-century-old brand manufacturer and growing the business to include 12 digital channels with high double-digit growth year over year. Emily’s previous experience includes leadership at an e-commerce platform, where she was responsible for the marketing, sales, and customer service teams. Her 20-plus years in digital marketing and e-commerce have included a variety of consulting engagements as well as IT management.
