Chief Research Officer
Sharyn leads Forrester’s research organization. She oversees the analyst, executive partner, and analytics teams responsible for creating Forrester’s courageous and objective research, frameworks, and tools that help executives and functional leaders — across technology, marketing, customer experience (CX), sales, and product management — plan and pursue customer-obsessed growth. Prior to this role, Sharyn held various positions in Forrester’s research organization over the past 20 years, most recently as the group research director for the CMO, CIO, and CX roles at Forrester. She was also a key contributor to the development of the Forrester Wave™ methodology that helps clients accurately assess key vendors in a given technology or services market.
Before joining Forrester, Sharyn was a consultant at Clarkston Consulting. She holds a BS in computer technology from Purdue University and an MS in medical informatics from Northwestern University.
