The Dos and Don’ts of Forrester Logo Usage

The following guidelines apply to usage of the Forrester logo. Please submit all materials to citations@forrester.com for review/approval.

Do

Submit all materials using the Forrester logo to Citations (citations@forrester.com) for review and include copy, images, branding, and the context.

 

Do Not

Assume that approval of one piece means approval for all. Context matters, and Forrester has specific policies around usage in different mediums.

 

Overall

Do

  • Send mock-ups of all materials containing the Forrester logo in their entire context for review and approval before use.
  • Download the Forrester logo at the bottom of this page.
  • Make sure it is clear why the Forrester logo appears.
  • Make sure your logo appears larger than the Forrester logo. The Forrester logo should be no more than 75% of the size of your logo.
  • Make sure that your logo is more prominent than the Forrester logo.
  • Remember that use of the Forrester logo is not required when citing Forrester.
  • Add “Featuring” above the Forrester logo whenever it is used in association with speaking engagements.
  • Use a thumbnail of our report/study cover image in your creatives.

  • Change the color or proportions of the Forrester logo.
  • Use the Forrester logo as text.
  • Horizontally align your logo and the Forrester logo.
  • Use the Forrester logo more than once in the same asset.
  • Attempt to replicate the Forrester logo in font.
  • Make the Forrester logo larger than or the same size as your own logo.
  • Use the Forrester logo in email signatures or on/in press releases.
  • Add the Forrester logo to your own depiction of the study/report cover.

  • Make sure your logo appears larger and more prominently than the Forrester logo when not on your own web domain.
  • Make sure the Forrester logo is no larger than the largest font on the page.
  • Make it clear why the Forrester logo appears on the website. This could include adding the asset title (webinar, report, study, etc.) or adding a CTA (read report, get study, watch webinar, etc.).
  • Add “Featuring” above the Forrester logo for speaking engagements.
