Atanu has 20 years experience in technology solution and 30 years overall industry experience.

As the CIO for Hindalco Industries Limited, Atanu is responsible for IT strategy & operations, IT security & architecture, new technology ingestion, Oracle ERP re-implementation and supporting digital business enablement using latest technology. Prior to Hindalco Atanu has been the CIO at L&T Construction, headed IT strategy and global operations at Petrofac and professional services at Genpact.

Atanu is a technology evangelist, a keen learner and known to challenge status quo. He is an IIM-Calcutta and BITS Pilani alumnus, MIE, BME, Chartered Engineer, Oracle Masters and Green Belt in Six Sigma.
