Ning Lin, PhD is Chief Economist at the Bureau of Economic Geology, The University of Texas at Austin. She is an applied energy economist with 15 years of commercial experience at Shell Trading, Koch Industries, and Tenaska before joining UT in 2019. Her expertise spans market analytics, techno-economics, and scenario modeling across gas, power, hydrogen, and industrial value chains. Recent work includes data center energy planning, hydrogen storage valuation, and bio-based market development.
