Forrester Research, Inc. (Nasdaq: FORR) today announced that it has been awarded a California Multiple Award Schedule (CMAS) contract by the State of California’s Department of General Services. Forrester’s CMAS contract provides state and local government agencies in California with a streamlined process for accessing Forrester’s research and advisory products and services at competitive prices. According to the Center for Digital Government, California has an estimated IT budget of $4 billion dollars — approximately 4 percent of its total $100 billion dollar state budget — making it the largest state IT budget in the nation.

“We are very pleased to have been awarded the CMAS contract,” stated Neil Bradford, president, Forrester Americas. “This will provide California state and local government agencies with an expedient and cost-effective way to access the type of information and analysis they need to make critical technology investment choices and related strategic business decisions. Our portfolio of research products, consumer data, consulting services, and peer-to-peer event offerings will now be available to these agencies.”
