As chief people officer and head of Forrester’s Employee Experience organization, Lucia is responsible for Forrester's most valuable asset: its people. She helps improve the performance effectiveness of Forrester's business strategy by positioning employees for success. Lucia is recognized for her strategic acumen and skills as an executive coach, advisor, and consensus builder. She is a proven business leader who brings more than 20 years of experience in executive roles in human resources, business strategy, marketing, and business development.
Prior to joining Forrester, Lucia was the senior vice president of human resources and corporate affairs at ConvaTec, a private equity spinoff from Bristol-Myers Squibb. There, she led a corporatewide change management initiative, resulting in significant improvements in senior team collaboration and employee engagement globally.
Previously, Lucia was executive vice president of human resources (HR) at Boston Scientific Corporation. In that role, she was responsible for companywide HR efforts, including HR services to all Boston Scientific businesses and functions, as well as corporate recruiting, compensation, benefits, policies, and training.
At both ConvaTec and Boston Scientific, Lucia was a member of the executive team reporting to the CEO. She previously held senior business management positions at Quest Diagnostics, Honeywell International, and Digital Equipment Corporation.
In 2012, Lucia began a collaboration with the Center for Higher Ambition Leadership, a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing and supporting a global community of leaders who aspire to build institutions that achieve sustained high performance by earning the respect, trust, and commitment of their people, customers, communities, and investors.
Lucia holds a B.A. in management from Simmons College.
