Forrester Research, Inc. (Nasdaq: FORR) today announced the final agenda for the upcoming Executive Strategy Forum, “Beyond eCommerce: Winning In The Internet Economy,” to be held November 10-12, 1999, at the Westin Hotel Copley Place, Boston, Mass. This two-and-a-half-day Forum will focus on the eCommerce strategies and technologies that will enable companies to define and dominate online markets.

Forum speakers will explore the business models and processes that will underpin new eCommerce customer and supplier relationships, and investigate innovative approaches to organizing and driving eCommerce initiatives. The presentations will focus on revamping customer service, reconstructing distribution channels, overhauling supply chains, and reorienting IT architecture to meet the demands of the Internet economy. The Forum will also explore new technologies that will help companies go beyond merely taking orders online to delivering a rich self-service experience.

“The Internet economy is changing the way companies do business — both internally and externally,” said George F. Colony, President, Forrester Research. “The Executive Strategy Forum will define what these new business models will look like and what it will take for individuals to become successful change agents within their organizations.”

In addition to addressing business models and technologies, Forrester will unveil a new set of tools for measuring how far along companies are in their transition to an integrated eCommerce strategy and where they stand in relation to other companies in their industry.

The Forrester Executive Strategy Forum will feature case studies highlighting some of today’s leaders in eCommerce. These presentations, from companies such as Office Depot and America Online, will help executive decision-makers gain the strategy and tools necessary to win in the Internet economy.
