Forrester Names Senior Finance Advisor To The CEO And Begins Formal Search For CFO
Forrester Research, Inc. (Nasdaq: FORR) today announced that it has engaged finance expert Paul Burmeister as senior finance advisor to Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer George F. Colony. Effective immediately, Burmeister, a partner with Tatum, LLC, will advise Colony in his role as acting chief financial officer and will participate in the search for a new CFO.
Burmeister has more than 30 years of experience as a financial executive. He was CFO of RoweCom and interim CFO of Tweeter Home Entertainment Group. Burmeister also served as CFO of Fidelity Systems Company, a subsidiary of Fidelity Investments, and as Corporate Controller of Fidelity Investments. In more than a decade with Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), Burmeister was both assistant corporate controller and CFO of D&B’s Plan Services division. He also has held senior financial and operational management positions at PepsiCo, American Can Company, and Estée Lauder. Tatum, LLC is an executive services and consulting firm that helps companies in transition to accelerate business success and create more value.
“Paul has extensive experience as a financial leader,” said Colony. “We are excited that he has joined Forrester and is already leveraging his financial expertise as he works closely with the company’s executive team and assists us with the search for a new CFO that is now underway.”
As previously announced, Forrester veteran Charles Rutstein this week became chief operating officer and has assumed management of day-to-day business operations, working closely with Colony, Burmeister, and Forrester’s senior executives.
