Forrester Research, Inc. (Nasdaq: FORR) today announced that Kate Delhagen has rejoined the company as a director in research. Most recently, Delhagen played a key role as vice president of strategic planning and business development at lucy.com, an Internet retailer specializing in women’s athletic clothing and gear.

Upon joining Portland-based lucy.com in July 1999, Delhagen was responsible for defining and advancing the company’s business strategy, securing key business partnerships, and launching the site’s catalog business. Prior to joining lucy.com, Delhagen spent three years at Forrester Research. She served as a research director specializing in consumer online retailing and spearheaded research efforts in consumer Internet access, email, privacy, retail, and the women’s market.

Before joining Forrester, Delhagen spent two years at Seattle-based Starwave,where she was an advertising and group product manager. She gained extensive experience in developing and launching Web sites including the award-winning ESPN.com and Outside Online. During her tenure at lucy.com, Delhagen was a board member and the research committee chair of Shop.org. She is a graduate of Princeton University.
