Update On The Customer Intelligence Community
Back in February I announced the introduction of our Customer Intelligence Community — a place to discuss the news around customer data and the business challenges CI professionals face every day. Over the past few months the community's really started to heat up, with hundreds of new members and many lively discussions, and today I wanted to share some of the highlights.
- There's a great debate going on about how Customer Intelligence and Market Research professionals work together. This thread highlights findings from our recent research and covers views from the broader market.
- My colleague Sri started a post asking, "How can we extract more value from customer segmentation?" that will fuel some of her upcoming research. Sri also has a great discussion going around Customer Lifetime Value.
- Looking for a job in the Customer Intelligence space? Read this busy thread on professional development and job opportunities. (And, specifically, the listing we just posted for a new CI Analyst to join our team.)
- And lastly — want to have your say on our upcoming Web Analytics Wave™? Check out this new thread looking for feedback on vendor criteria.
These are just the highlights, so if you haven't yet joined in the fun, go create a profile and add your two cents. As you can tell from the examples, we have a great mix of both the Forrester CI team and your fellow CI professionals, so feel free to ask a question or weigh in on a debate to see multiple perspectives on a topic. I hope I've given you some good Wednesday reading, and I hope to see you in the community, joining in soon.
