Working At Forrester

What Does Forrester Look For In The Interview Process?

To hire the best of the best, we have a thorough but efficient interview process that helps us evaluate your candidacy and allows you to get to know us as well. We're not simply looking for functional expertise; we look to hire candidates whose work is consistent with Forrester's vision, mission, and values: client focus, courage, collaboration, integrity, and quality.

How do I apply for a job at Forrester?

To get started, search our job openings and apply for the position that interests you. Depending on the position, the process typically takes two-to-six weeks.

What does a typical interview process look like?

There are usually six steps in our interview process:

  1. A telephone interview with the recruiter.
  2. A telephone interview with the hiring manager.
  3. Team interviews. As a global organization, how your interview is conducted varies by where you are and where the team is based. Typically, you will interview with the team in person, but it could also be via phone, Skype, or videoconference.
  4. The recruiter will then collate all the feedback and relay it to you.
  5. Many of our positions require a formal presentation as a final step, but this is dependent on the position you apply for. For instance, to become an analyst at Forrester, you are required to write a report that frequently becomes your first published piece of work.
  6. An offer, if successful!
