Mobile will be the shining beacon driving digital experiences forward in 2014 — and, in turn, will lead to greater customer experience innovation. In a new Forrester report, Vice President and Research Director John Dalton says that 2014 will be the year that firms rally around mobile experiences in a rush to meet consumers’ increasingly digital-first mindset. As such, digital design and user experience skills will take center stage, and even laggard firms will have to make strategic investments in user-centered design and user experience as the pressure mounts to keep up with the standard-bearers.
