How do you take one of the most eagerly anticipated annual events in B2B and make it even better? This year’s SiriusDecisions Summit –to be held May 8-10 in Las Vegas– features the incisive content, valuable networking opportunities and legendary parties that attendees have come to expect and packs everything into a newly streamlined schedule.

I recently spoke with Tony Jaros, president and chief product officer at SiriusDecisions, about all the exciting changes in store at this year’s Summit.

“We took feedback from delegates to provide an experience that is more focused and guided,” Tony said. “We shortened the agenda to three days, which makes it more concentrated – you get everything you need.”

While the Summit agenda extends over fewer days than in past years, with no Friday programming scheduled, even more content is available. In addition to enjoying a full suite of keynote presentations, delegates can select from 12 full tracks of sessions across five timeslots (compared to seven tracks across seven timeslots at Summit 2017).

Full track topics include several new areas that received only partial tracks in previous years: account-based marketing, channel marketing, channel sales, sales strategy and operations, and sales enablement. In addition, brand and communications, content strategy and operations, customer engagement, demand creation, marketing strategy and operations, portfolio marketing and product management will each continue to receive a full track.

Whether you’re in sales, marketing or product, you’re sure to find an entire track of Summit sessions perfectly suited to your interests. Each track features a well-rounded assortment of sessions, with two general-topic sessions, one SiriusLab, one session on infrastructure and technology, and one Program of the Year presentation featuring inspirational success stories from SiriusDecisions clients.

“Delegates want to hear from SiriusDecisions analysts on how to use the research presented, but they want that content paired with real-world examples,” Tony noted.

Summit 2018 also features even more opportunities for peer networking, with special breakfasts where delegates can learn from – and socialize with – other attendees in similar roles and industries. At these informal gatherings, no content will be presented, providing attendees with a focus on networking (and enjoying a delicious breakfast to fuel up for the day)!

In addition, the Marketplace will be bigger and better than ever, with plenty of opportunities to meet with the hottest sales and marketing technology providers and network with fellow delegates. This year, the evening Titanium Celebration – one of the most eagerly anticipated annual Summit parties – will be held right in the Marketplace.

“Attendees can end their day on a high note with a guest keynote and go right into the party,” Tony said. “There will be time to engage with sponsors in the Marketplace and have fun at the Titanium celebration.”

Speaking of fun, the new schedule concludes with a grand finale: the biggest Green Tie Gala ever. While some details (like the musical entertainment) remain secret for now, rest assured this will be an unforgettable party to close out Summit.
