I’m pleased to announce our recently published The Forrester Wave™: Global Adobe Services Partners, Q3 2022. In our 23-criterion evaluation of global Adobe services partners, we identified the 10 most significant ones — Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Deloitte, dentsu, IBM, Infosys, Publicis Groupe, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and WPP — and researched, analyzed, and scored them on current offering, strategy, and market presence.

Since the last Forrester Wave evaluation in 2020, Adobe Experience Cloud has expanded; Real-Time CDP has become an official product; the Experience Platform offering is maturing; and the Workfront work management platform joined the portfolio via acquisition. The COVID-19 pandemic and economic disruption have boosted business customers’ commitment to experience transformation and largely accelerated their investment in Adobe products and services. As a result of these trends, Adobe services customers should look for providers that:

  • Accelerate transformation with Adobe expertise and business understanding. Adobe customers expect providers to bring in Adobe product knowledge, industry expertise, and deep understanding of their business needs and use established best practices and prebuilt Adobe assets and accelerators to accelerate the implementation and experience transformation process. With deep business understanding, the providers are more effective at organizing and coordinating the business and technology stakeholders in customers’ firms.
  • Deliver outcomes with scale and quality with localized Adobe resources globally. The Adobe Experience Cloud portfolio is growing and evolving, and customers expect providers to help them keep up with the changes. In addition, the breadth of in-market Adobe product coverage, service portfolio, and availability of skills on the ground are among Adobe customers’ top criteria when selecting a provider. Adobe customers prefer providers with enough in-market Adobe-supporting resources to ensure that business outcomes are delivered; some are experimenting with performance-based deals for Adobe services.
  • Prepare for future experience needs supported by an evolving Adobe product line. Adobe customers want their investment to be future-proof and expect providers to help them navigate the future. Solid technical implementation and support capabilities are just table stakes. Customers not only require an external perspective to think about business and technology in more innovative ways, but also require providers with demonstrated thought leadership, innovation capabilities, and a vision capable of meeting future needs.
