About Forrester’s Security & Risk Summit

Forrester’s Security & Risk Summit is a three-day immersive event that brings together industry experts, government leaders, security vendors, and security and risk practitioners from some of the largest enterprises in the world. This year, it is being held December 9–11 in Baltimore. The event has five tracks, with talks from Forrester analysts’ cutting-edge research:

  • Leadership and strategy
  • Risk and compliance
  • Prevention, detection, and response
  • Identity and fraud
  • Cloud and application security

There are networking activities throughout the event, not to mention a series of incredible keynotes lined up on everything from data security for AI and post-quantum to security predictions for 2025.

Why We Support This Scholarship

There are some years where I deeply feel and see the progress that the security industry is making on diversity and inclusion. So far, 2024 is not one of those years … yet. This scholarship is designed to help women enter the cybersecurity field with friends, allies, and connections who they otherwise would not have had. It’s also meant as an example for what a security event can look like when we prioritize diversity and inclusion. On the Forrester security and risk team alone, we have a very diverse group of analysts. On the keynote stage this year, we have more women than men presenting.

If you are a woman looking to break into the security field, this is the event to come to. Apply today to join us in Baltimore in December!
