Forrester recently released its Digital Go-To-Market Review: CPG Brands, 2026 research. In this review, we analyzed 24 CPG brands across the digital attributes that matter most for long-term go-to-market success. Social media is a critical part of the consumer discovery journey, particularly as younger consumers use social platforms not only for inspiration and research but also to buy products.

We reviewed the brands’ presence and engagement across major social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X. We also assessed their use of social commerce features and user-generated content. Five notable brands on social media include:

  • Pepsi led the CPG category with more than a million followers across every major social platform. It kept fans engaged through interactive content like its “Team Pepsi” channel.
  • Coca-Cola combined a massive social audience with high-profile campaigns and sponsorships, including creative fan engagement tied to the FIFA World Cup 2026.
  • Hello embraced social commerce and was the only brand in our review with official storefronts on both Instagram and TikTok.
  • Pringles built a strong Instagram and TikTok presence while fostering ongoing engagement through story highlights and its “What’s Poppin’” broadcast channel.
  • Poppi created consumer enthusiasm through collaborations with popular franchises like Love Island, influencer partnerships, and brand ambassador programs.
